Subject: Booking Opportunities & Recital Plans for Baby Tosh's Operetta
Dear Daniel,
As mentioned please also look at this nonpublic page, which discusses a motivation behind the piece and it's potential for campus outreach: https://www.babytosh.com/campus.
+ is their perhaps a campus connection in Charleston?
Please let me give you 20% commission on any booking.
Could you please contact the below to inform of, then send the below drafted email as you see fit.
• You mentioned a friend in Chicago, I will be passing his door I think in July on my way to Colorado to get the camper
• also KKBE (for the Jewish Songwriters concert) you said your mum has this connection - if it's better can I have your mums number?
For anyone in Charleston Id like to suggest November on, but if anyone prefers other dates, I should be able to accommodate.
I don’t necessarily need venues with a piano, though it’s always a bonus. I can use a keyboard, but the experience is so much richer with a piano.

Subject: Unique Opportunity to Host Baby Tosh’s Operetta Performance
Dear [Name],
Following our conversation, I wanted to share with you an opportunity to host a recital of Baby Tosh’s original Operetta.
Paul performed this in our home, and it was an unforgettable experience for all involved.
“I felt like I was transported to a pre-WWII era of Jewish artistic gatherings. I loved it!”– (my) Libby
You can see clips of that performance here: www.babytosh.com/operetta.
His Operetta, Paper Gun, resonates deeply with audiences, addressing the universal struggle of maintaining a façade of strength while grappling with internal challenges. The performance is filled with jazz-inflected melodies and heartfelt lyrics that invite reflection and emotional connection.
And a friend of ours said
"Baby Tosh held up a mirror to the audience, inviting us to wrestle with ourselves, with each other, and with G-d. And isn’t that the truest form of art? Unforgettable performance!"
- Tzipporah Naim,
Please consider hosting an event (perhaps a fund raiser) with Paul’s Operetta as a focal point?
We would help organize and promote.
Paul will be in Charleston from November, though he is open to other dates if that works better for you.
Please let me know if you’d like to discuss further.
Warm regards,
Additionally, Daniel, can you please reach out to Joseph one time for me with the following?
Subject: Potential Collaboration for Baby Tosh Concert
Hi Joseph,
Paul asked me to reach out regarding the following:
-
Paul performed at BSBI, as well as at our house with his Operetta, and now has a better chance of pulling a crowd for a concert at Fox. He has the new format of his Six Decades of Jewish Songwriters and Operetta. Check out more details on: www.babytosh.com and www.babytosh.com/operetta.
I suggested he double up with another act, but we believe Paul can draw a crowd this time based on the positive feedback he’s received of which we were part. He’s happy to split ticket revenue with you, so there’s no need for an upfront fee—just a little promotion would be appreciated.
Paul will be in town again from November, but let us know if you have a preferred date.
-
Paul has also proposed a kickback idea. Would you be willing to send out the following introductory emails to a few Fox Music customers for a 20% commission on any booking? EG send to 10 customers—5 individuals for the Operetta and 5 venues (country clubs, 55+ communities) for his Jewish Songwriters concert. He has drafted emails to send.
Operetta Intro Email:
Dear valued Fox Music customer,
I’m excited to introduce a special opportunity to book a recital from our friend Baby Tosh, who performs his unique original Operetta in an intimate home concert setting. This is a great option for a fundraiser or to gather friends and family together. For more details and to book, visit www.babytosh.com/operetta.
Operetta price: $740
Please contact Alan Gestetner for booking: alan@babytosh.com

Subject: Exciting Concerts in Charleston & Operetta Promotion Help
Dear Tessa,
How are you? Have you had the baby yet? I hope you're doing well!
Your comments about my operetta were truly remarkable, and I’ve incorporated them into the website and video—thank you so much! I’d like to ask if you could help with promoting a small round of concerts in Charleston later this year. Libby had some fantastic ideas, including performing the operetta in private homes, potentially as part of fundraising evenings. Also, Fox Music might host a show.
Would you be willing to help promote these concerts? Perhaps by sending WhatsApp messages, helping with outreach, or suggesting any other places I could perform? Any creative ideas would be much appreciated!
Please also check out this nonpublic page that describes an aspect of motivation in the dissemination of the piece: https://www.babytosh.com/campus.
I promised I’d send you a couple of versions of some songs from the operetta. Here are the links:

Dear Tessa,
I had an idea and would love your help. Would you consider spearheading an approach to Regina Spektor on my behalf?
I’ve prepared a letter (below) with samples of my performances of some of her songs, as well as some of my own work from the operetta that I think she might enjoy. It’s always better if someone else makes the first contact, and I’d be thrilled if you could help me with this.
I’m a big fan, and if I could get my work to her, perhaps she would want to support me in the future.
Thank you so much for considering this, and I truly appreciate your help.
Kindest and most grateful regards,
Paul

Subject: Excited to Connect & Share My Music
Dear Regina,
I hope this message finds you well. My friend Tessa will likely have reached out to you on my behalf, and I just wanted to say how excited I would be to connect with you.
I would love to meet you and explore the possibility of collaborating. I’ve been performing for over 30 years, and I’ve recently created a combined show titled Six Decades of Jewish Songwriters, along with excerpts from my original operetta. In my show, I talk about your mom and dad and recently shared that you’ve now become my favorite artist. You can find that at 11:43 in the opening video at the top of www.babytosh.com.
I’d love to see my operetta performed in a small club or theatre setting, and I was wondering if you might know of a manager or agent who could help me get connected with such venues. I’m set up for travel and performance with my camper van, and I’m ready to bring my show anywhere.
I believe I appeal to a similar audience as yours, so I’d love to get my music in front of you. Below, I’ve shared samples of some of my operetta songs, along with a few of your tracks that I’ve performed:

Subject: Reaching Out About My Operetta & Future Opportunities
Hi Alex,
I hope you’re doing well! I’m in the WhatsApp group, and it’s been great to see your postings.
I’ve been performing my operetta in private homes and also doing my Six Decades of Jewish Songwriters concert in shuls, 55+ communities, and country clubs. I mention your “Too Close” story in my show, from when you were in my shoebox flat explaining what happened just before it unfolded. You can find it at Alex 6:45 in the intro video at the top of www.babytosh.com.
I would love to explore the possibility of performing my operetta in a small club or theatre setting. Do you know anyone who could introduce me to a small agent or manager who might help get me booked in such places? I’ll soon have a camper van, so I’m set up for travel and performances.
Please check out samples of my operetta at www.babytosh.com/operetta. Also, here’s a nonpublic page that describes some of the motivation behind the piece: https://www.babytosh.com/campus.

I am also trying to find a direct way to get in touch with Adam Lehman, the CEO of Hillel for Jewish students.
Their is also a unique kiruv element to the Operetta, I have hi-lighted a train of though on this page quoting Rabbi Sacks that I would like Adam to see, and my aim is to get a 5min meeting with him.
I’d be truly grateful for any help you can offer, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Subject: Performance Opportunity for My Operetta: Request for Consideration
Hi [Recipient's Name],
I hope this email finds you well.
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Ben Shapiro at the gym, where he kindly gave me a wonderful quote and even re-shared one of my videos. I’ve been performing my original operetta in private homes, as well as doing my “Six Decades of the Jewish Writers” concert in Shuls and 55+ communities. In Charleston, I’ve used the operetta as a focal point for fundraising events, and the response has been incredibly positive.
I’m reaching out to ask if you would consider using my operetta for a future event, and if you could also ask Ben Shapiro if he might consider showcasing it as part of a similar initiative. I truly believe it would be a meaningful addition to any gathering, especially one with a focus on the arts and Jewish culture.
Please feel free to take a look at the details of the operetta on my website:
www.babytosh.com/operetta
Additionally, I’ve written a non-public page that provides further insight into the motivation behind the piece:
www.babytosh.com/campus
You can also find a selection of live performances and testimonials here:
Operetta Playlist on YouTube
As a new addition, here’s a recent song from the operetta titled "Fear Hate":

I would be incredibly grateful for any opportunity to showcase the operetta or to get an introduction to potential events where it could fit.
I am also trying to find a direct way to get in touch with Adam Lehman, the CEO of Hillel for Jewish students.

Dear Yaell & Yitzy
I hope you and all the fam are all well
I have performed my new J writers concert which led to me doing a private home recital of my Operetta, which has led to being used as a focal point for recital type bookings in peoples homes doing my original Operetta.
I am making moves to expand that interest as I have had better responses to it than anything I ever did.
I believe the new main video (top front centre on the web site landing page) incorporating what I've done through the years as a sell, and how it introduces the Operetta, I think could be perhaps sold to a network and they'd want to do a story / interview/ news article, on my background to this point.
My ultimate goal is get to the right person I could get a tour out of this, I could get Ronnie Scotts, all the places because I'm the "looper, jazz player, interpreter" bla bla bla - but how to we do it
I am also trying to find a direct way to get in touch with Adam Lehman, the CEO of Hillel for Jewish students.
Their is also a unique kiruv element to the Operetta, I have hi-lighted a train of though on this page quoting Rabbi Sacks that I would like Adam to see, and my aim is to get a 5min meeting with him.
I am writing to ask from making your documentary perhaps you have an LA contact I could meet to present to in the light of, or some way to get the attention of Adam Lehman.
I aim to be there in August
Warm regards
Paul

Dear Libby,
I'm probably on the mark to say you are mad busy with the move. If you need a moments respite from all things pedestrian in light of maintaining a greater degree of intrinsic sanity solely for the purposes of my gratification….please review the enclosed
I worked to raise the game, and can’t wait to present the enhanced version of Paper Gun the Operetta.
Preview of here: www.babytosh.com/operetta and on this playlist
The new main intro video if I do say so myself is quink (quite incredible) see it at the top of www.babytosh.com
Also, if you are looking for more “me genius” take a look at this private info page too, it discusses a motivation behind Paper Gun as a whole in light of a potential for outreach: https://www.babytosh.com/campus.
Is there perhaps a campus connection in Charleston?
THE POINT
Please let me give you 20% commission on any booking.
THE EFFORT
Could you please contact to inform, then send the below template email as you see fit, and ask for a preferred date, I’d appreciate in no uncertain terms, and am likely to name a song or a bridge after you, preferably one you built just to save time.
Barry & Jan Lippov

Any contacts you have who own pianos in their homes
Your own home (if you’re not in Boca or will be there at some point, no charge)
Alisha Abrahams (Atlanta)
Dor Tikva (for the Jewish Songwriters concert)
Adelston School (for Fall 2026/Spring 2027)
Id like to suggest November on, but if anyone prefers other dates, I should be able to accommodate and will build around it.
I don’t necessarily need venues with a piano, though it’s always a zillion times better. I can use a keyboard, but the experience is richer in the extreme with a piano.
I’d like to reach out to Tessa and will cc you when I send her - can you send me an email?

Hi Isaac
Hope you are well
I am writing to you because I did something in Charleston after run of shul concerts billed as the Jewish writers of the last six decades.
Then I did a bespoke “Operetta” at the family home of some Yidden there.
Subsequent they are shopping me to the affluent area homes, to do the Operetta at fund raiser evenings.
If you ever want to pull together such an event with me performing the Operetta, have a look at and use this: www.babytosh.com/operetta to sell the idea to folks you want to come.
I'm sending this to you in particular because you know a lot about me and may just find some of the pieces interesting, also I recall you pressing me to focus on my original works of which this is made up. I never saw a plausible frame or setting until this.
I present some of the material acted out through a character of an evil protagonist.
I always recommend it being on a real piano but I have a professional rig with a keyboard where necessary.
The below are comments from that first night
