FUNDING 2025
Perhaps a subtle point of contention is I am primarily asking for support for what I do, more than for what I can come to earn.
I have been doing my level best to drive towards greater earning, but without artistic compromise, and have now come to a more tenable business position in that light.
But I am primarily an artist, competent* at something which is arguably no longer mainstream, but for which it can be seen there is a need, and demand.
*to quote Billy Joel Harav Ha Goan "being competent in today's world may perhaps be something exceptional".
I have a plan for my work. Decades of work gone into.
PG’ I will be successful.
I have a clear goal on:
the performance approach and sales plan and truck camper facility front.

TESTIMONIALS
I wish I had sooner realized that in fact my original works, framed in the Operetta (first done in this frame in Charleston after two covers concerts early 2025), are simultaneously my stronger business suit.
It's what I'm best at and gets the most deeply positive reactions too; although I am good at the other also, have it framed well, and get many lower level bookings for it - however the easy mistake to make is to think that this bookings success can be expanded upon. There are a million zillion people clamoring in the covers space, and no matter how good, when you have what I do BH' in the Operetta and the more sincere and deeper reactions to it, then that becomes the direction.
Agreed it can lean on the "The song is the play" as required to get an opening to perform some of it.
And remember I have never tried to create bookings for my own works. Recently the boss of one of the top seniors facilities where I regularly perform said “what a great idea, perfect for “open day” - that was with NO exposure to the material even - just the flyer and a free T shirt.
This is also a good target (among many) for the salesman; the bosses (not the activity directors) of the upper class seniors places.
VOX 1 Quintessential
I did a quintessential performance of one of the pieces from Paper Gun tonight in a place – and I think it’s totally going to sell me in to any place potentially that I’m going to be performing at – I’m very excited about the way it’s taking shape – we’re hopefully going to end up with a Broadway show – dreams dreams dreams, but there are steps along the way that are realistic, that are represented – and there are customers already etc
VOX 2 Fund intro
It’s part altruistic a project (bridges a gap)*, it’s got that space in it. And I’m going to share with you what the next step I’m doing to be able to fill the gap (prior funding lost) that has been left; now we cant finish the building of the camper, we can’t get the truck. There is a lot going on to see if we can help nudge the next stage along of a valuable project. Theirs a salesman going to be working and an onboarding – a ton – it’s a massive project. And you can see that it’s getting somewhere, and you can see that it’s got legs, and it’s got what it’s got.
I’m putting together a team for the remainder, and I would like to know if I can come and see you, if you’ll give me half an hour. It’s certainly special, and I think you’ll actually find it quite poignant and powerful; it’s got success under its belt – it certainly has, and it’s ratifiable.
I have pulled the elements together for the presentation.
That’s my question
All the best
Zai gebenched
Thank you
Below are two introduction videos to both shows I sell. Please look on the front page of the web site for the playlist of the full versions of the songs in the Operetta

*Bridges a gap
It so happens it’s become a more altruistic, also in a Jewish sense.
I can only ask for your altruism if to a degree it has mine. I do it subtly (and sometimes not so) - it's a very subtle operation generally in that sense, because it shouldn’t be anything other than that.
To understand how it bridges a gap, see in the above videos

VOX 3 WHY CANT YOU SELL
In answer to the question inevitably asked "why can’t you sell it" - I do sell it! I have sold it. People have bought it. I'm streamlining the process so that all that I can be doing is scheduling. I’m doing too many jobs* - it's nothing more complicated than that.
See the streamlined SALESMAN ONBOARDING which gives him all the tools to make sure that he can stay focused, which I can’t do because I get spread too thin - he can stay focused on the ones that pay the best or are the greater opportunities in the right direction.
*And I won’t need the second survival night shift job.
I have taken a part time night watchman job allowing me to keep working in downtime while earning a bit. But what doesn’t help in doing the night shift at a farm - is because it knocks your sleep out, plus doing gigs, plus trying to get this part of the business off the ground - it would be nice to let that go for a cross over period.
Dealing with daily business and gigs, dealing with all this, and the nigh shift job - it's literally 24/7
I need a break out plan and this is it.
OTHER REASONS FOR A WELL ONBOARDED SALESMAN
The product and content present confidently, and so a third party can represent.
The product deserves a strong closer. I’m too close to the creative and delivery side to also push hard on the sale. Im not looking for a completely ruthless person, but someone simply more natural to discuss the product in the third person, which is necessary when negotiating and closing.
I generate many leads and start the conversation on the road BH'
— but final negotiation and sales follow-up are better served by someone else.
TOP PRICING FROM SALESMAN ONBOARDING PAGE
You probably heard the phrase: good fast and cheap, and that you can only ever have two of the three.
Well if I’m good, and I for sure am fast (my systems on many levels are super slick BH’, then perhaps I shouldn't be cheap.
It might be something for the salesman to test out in the various targets identified, that with wisdom and council he can establish that I am something “expensive”. I lay just be that I need the pricing structure tested out by him to different targets to see who accepts the higher price more (I was once offered $3000 for gig in a country club in FL). The point is that since I did my time to test the material out live in my regular bookings, that now that the original show is created - this original show is worth a lot of money - it’s got more value to it than meets the eye. It has the live time under its belt and how extremely well it’s been received. It may be a high-ticket price thing - It may only be for that high price market - try to identify where that can be. $15,000 may not be an issue in certain places for a show - it may be easy.
WHY
I have been for a while performing pieces from the Opearetta and noticing the marked difference in reactions to them, and also I am currently successfully placing the Operetta as a single performance piece to every place Im doing regular gigs in - its well oiled / tested live - goes down well - has a broad acceptance - it's a bit sharp, but it has appeal and I want to give it a good thrashing as it were - this is what it's all about.
PART OF SALES PITCH
Want to tour it "out of town" / around the country with a salesman fielding to many varied targets, to raise money for an off Broadway run and promotion of it

WHY THE SELF DRIVING TRUCK
At the drop of a hat without hotel costs and much in/out bother I can be anywhere all it takes is the journey time which I use to work as I travel currently in a Tesla Model Y with Full Self Driving.
The truck is also a great advert.
And I don’t need to keep an apartment.

VOX LICENCE PLATE VENUE GOAL “OPERETTA”
The number plate is now www.Operetta.live because it’s commensurate with the type of venue it should be in; private jazz clubs, university recital rooms – all the intimate / theatre type spaces are the ultimate goal – but we’re doing everything we can to get there with all these other targets, but anything we can do on the main front is always welcome.

DETAIL ORIENTED
After seeing this and the salesman onboarding details, new targets and current follow up leads; if you wonder why I prepare so much like i've done here, like I designed the sound systems and iPad facilities to allow for the performance side to function independent of it (eg without a sound man) - the same principle applies, the stronger the foundation where one thing serves the other, the better the thing being served will be / it wont fall down because of it / it can be forgotten about while you focus on the job at hand.
Also I am primarily an artist, trying to put himself in a business position.
I really wish I had a manager on top of the sales guy, that would be even better, but this is a good start.
FUNDING REQUIREMENT to activate full on for one year:
A
18k = 1500 pm stop me doing the night shift
cross over period to buy back sleep - it is messes you up
10k = 815 car monthly payment
15k = 6 months x2500 sales push Nov on down south
30k if one year but shouldn’t need
43k = 3.5k pm
but still left struggling a bit for general accommodation as well as not having the ideal facility for immediate response and focus on the job not accommodation setting up each place
B
18k = 1500 pm stop me doing the night shift
cross over period to buy back sleep - it is messes you up
12k = 1000 truck pm payment for one year (less with 10k down)
15k = 6 months of x2500 sales push Nov on down south
26k still to go for the camper*
(I have 13k in it already and also Eli has 13k in it already)
7k insurance
5k advertising wrap
83k = 7k pm
*to remove the accommodation struggles and also allow www.phoenixpopup.com/cyberphoenix/ to complete the order they received half the cost for when I had Eli/Alans sponsorship (see letter below)
There is one other thing I could use dedicated capital for, perhaps manageable by the salesman too. I spend $500 a year for a service that takes clips and daily releases them on various platforms - it took a lot to set that up and it's not being properly exercised, and a focused sales person could capitalize much more on it.
SEE: SOCIAL MEDIA LOOMLY
Perhaps an amount like 10k - it cannot be underestimated the work done to assign a clip a da, every day till the middle of next year through LOOMLY to four social platforms simultaneously. If I could somehow advertise this it would help Im sure.
* right now model Y worth 30k with 36 months left x $815 pm car lease
unless can re-finance
ONCE DOING MORE OPERETTA GIGS
I should find more sponsors to leverage up BezH' to a broadway show

• Im not the "festival" type act at all - it's for a small theatre type spaces, up to Carnegie hall, it's for people who want to come to a quiet place, it's not a rock loud act. Theirs some pieces I've selected I'd like you to see to show what I mean by "intimate type approach", that thing we're aiming for - many more videos on the web site.

Eli/Alan
Hello
I'm Eli Gestetner, of Kahal Mekor Chaim,
7 Valencia Dr in Monsey
friend, chavrusa, council and sponsor to Paul
Pauls work is rare, and much needed - see the many responses in this live testimonials to see some of the impact of his work.
He is reaching forwards into new markets, the bulk of his customers till recently have been senior living facilities, where the meager pay they budget for is not enough. No way existed to bypass all program directors to the bosses or owners who determine these low wages, in return for what is uniquely appreciated in Pauls service. There are no people out there doing what he is doing, hence he gets the “maximum” wherever he goes with his loyal supporters in the seniors facilities up and down the East coast, but that is still very low for what is a hi quality product, in; tasking, maintenance, preparation, and set up time; these and more behind the scenes responsibilities. It just doesn't pay what it should for the sake of what he does.
“Since Covid all the other entertainers don’t want to come back and they all now ask for $500 and we cant afford it, Paul has always performed his 2hr show with set up and strip down for $340, this is the most we ever paid any entertainer which usually ranges from $150 to $200 max, but he works hard doing a great job. Paul has been playing at our assisted living community for two years now and comes almost monthly to entertain, and entertain he does! He is interactive, exciting and even takes requests. He has been known to learn a song or two for our residents. He puts a fun spin on any song and clearly loves what he's doing. I highly suggest him!”
Courtney Corrosi
Activities director
Brightview Senior living, Maryland
(410 567 0094)
Harmony in Savannah pays $195, which is $95 more than they pay any other entertainer.
And this is their review:
"Such a great performance! Baby Tosh was energetic, inclusive, and so entertaining! Residents loved the interaction and the over all joy brought to the community. We can't wait to have him back!"
Elinor Lincoln
Activities director
The greatest responses have been to the original work, now in his Operetta
I would like to see enough support for this to be allotted more time, along with his long time successful general concert for seniors and 55+ communities. Aiming ultimately for greater platforms to be tested out through the hire of a sales/closer.
I wish to allow for re-investment as well as a more stable income for Paul, and to keep one full-time staff for new higher level sales, as he continues to perform over great distances.
His costs far outweigh the income generated at this time, although it is plain to see the demand and need is hi.
Paul has taken music as a therapy to a new level, every performance contributes to calmness, to a degree of peace, to the participants overall wellbeing. He has dedicated his life to his work, honed a repertoire and performance approaches, and proved himself with a variety of audiences, and developed a quality equipment system to provide a rare standard. The results are palpable. Paul performs from Boca to Connecticut; doing all booking preparations, promotion, invoicing, production, gear maintenance, videography etc.
I believe in the spread of Pauls work for it's own sake, to the extent that for the last three years in various ways I have offered support, including paying for a full self driving Tesla (that Paul sometimes sleeps in), after seeing him travel great distances in all weathers in a beat up Honda. We were heading to changing that for a truck with a camper. The kind of distances Paul covers would be impossible without this as well as relief from the constant in and out of friends houses & air BnB's or hotels. I have of late discovered for reasons out-with the realm of this discussion that I am unable to continue.
We are looking to pull together fund raising partners for the propagation of Pauls work spreading of love and peace.
Please join in an opportunity to share in something meaningful.
All contributions can be through my registered charity.
