I deliver a live piano looping and vocal performance; blending classical and jazz, specializing in my own compositions, Sinatra , the 1970’s New York Jewish singer songwriters, and some light Opera & the clinic to demystify the piano and songwriting.
I basically perform and tell people how a person who doesn’t know how to read music (me) can play the piano. And it has helped to sell.
I HAVE DONE THIS AND WITH REPEAT BUSINESS from two Yamaha dealers already, one in Florida and one in South Carolina, and am building interest with others.
*My price includes all travel and accommodation, an hour and a half set up, and hour concert, plus a half hour clinic (using my special teaching method and book), often intertwined, and Q&A session. CLOSING ARGUMENT
“Yamaha have the piano division with certain individuals who are the artists that they send to the dealerships, doing essentially what you’re doing right now.
However with Covid all of those artists have been grounded so to speak.
I envision that they may say; “well we’re never sending anybody to a store again, we’re going to take the artist and have them do a few videos, and have that suffice”. Now I think that will fail miserably for all the reasons we talked about, that nothing happens till we get face to face. But when you are dealing with some of the younger folks, they don’t see that because they don’t have any experience, which is that; “You’ve got to get face to face some time along the way.”
