I'm considering organizing a recital in Isaac Slesinger's Gold Coast mansion on Long Island. I believe I can get him to host it, possibly for a fee. This could open doors, and with other avenues of pursuit, it could eventually lead to something bigger—perhaps even a production on Broadway or a film version, IyH, in my lifetime.
Do we know anyone who might be able to help make this happen? I’m confident the videos I’ve created speak for themselves and could shine in the right hands. However, if this path doesn’t work out, so be it. The long road is often the most worthwhile—the journey itself being the destination.
I plan to move forward with Isaac. I don't need to ask permission, as I know he and his circle are well-connected in the NY theatre scene. I just need to set up a recital, allowing him to use his promotional tools to draw a crowd—though I’ll wait until after Charleston to build more confidence, as Isaac can be a tough nut to crack.
A few years ago, we attended a theater performance together, and I’m confident he and his circle will appreciate the Operetta, BezH’.
I’ll highlight the “author’s notes” section on the PG page of my website, outlining the ultimate purpose of the Operetta.
Additionally, there's potential for the piece to be sold as a film.
