ABOUT PAUL
Paul is a pianist / singer, and songwriter
He delivers a fusion of modern live looping techniques and Crooning, on the songs of the last six decades of Jewish writers and more songs from the 70’s
Paul started life as a musician playing in Princes square, an up-market shopping center in Glasgow Scotland, as well as local piano bars, he then got to cover for a friend Danny Thompson at Mickeys Pizza in Denmark. From there he went on to piano bars in ski resorts in Klosters and St. Moritz, Switzerland. Followed by residencies in two London West End hotels, before coming to the US 8 years ago, where he has performed throughout touring as a soloist.
“Check this guy out, it’s a kiddush Hashem.” Ben Shapiro, The Daily Wire re-tweet
“He speaks in a distinctive Scottish accent. With a friendly, bubbly personality that lights up the room.” Baltimore Jewish Times
“Paul is the very embodiment of the term crooner. Knows his way round the ivories better than most.” Alex Clare, Island Records artist
With deep roots in storytelling and a cultural emphasis on questioning, it’s no coincidence that Paul found himself drawn to the thinking and mindset of the Jewish songwriters. Their ability to blend profound emotion with wit, and universal themes speaks to a unique worldview shaped by a history of, struggle, and creativity. Crafting songs that were both intensely personal and universally resonant. This mindset—turning hardship into beauty, humor, or hope—fostered an art form that not only entertains but also connects people across diverse experiences. Their introspective yet outward-looking approach mirrors a way of thinking that felt familiar and meaningful, drawing Paul into another shared narrative that transcends generations.
